Ciara is doing the performance and television interview circuit promotiong new music, and as such faced down a lot of questions concerning her new relationship with Russell Wilson.
Although the two initially played mum on rumors concerning their potential coupling, now that it's out in the open Ciara is practically gushing with excitement and praise for the Seattle Seahawks quarterback.
“Life is amazing," she said while appearing on the set of TODAY. "And I had such an amazing experience at the White House. We had a great time. It was just so amazing. Life is pretty sweet, I can say that.”
The "experience at the White House" to which Ciara refers is last week's White House State Dinner. Whilst there the two put on their finest threads and held hands for paparazzi and foreign dignitaries alike.
After her TODAY sit-down, Ciara spent some time talking to New York's Hot 97.
"All I can say to you is that he really is an awesome person. I can definitely say that," she said, via Fashion & Style. High praise, indeed.
Ciara also seemed to be taking a long view of her relationship history as well, and confirmed that she's feeling strong and in a healthy place.
"In life for me, everything is about timing. And again, I've been able to have my experiences and learn from them ... I mean, I don't know that's all I can really say...I've always had this thing for a rebel and the street boy. That's always been my thing....Some times you see things one period. And I don't wanna make it sound like I'm against anyone that I've been with in my life because I have nothing bad to say about anybody," Ciara said. "I think everything in your life is based on timing...I don't have any regrets in my life. Every person I've been with in my life, I was supposed to. One day at at time, with everything."
Russell Wilson is a lucky guy.
