A gossip site's mistake may be the impetus that finally reveals the relationship between Ndamukong Suh and Lolo Jones.
Gossipextra.com had reported that Suh, the new Miami Dolphins defensive tackle who signed a $114 million free-agent contract during the spring, was spotted in Las Vegas after the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight with a blonde woman.

According to the story, Suh and the woman left Marquee nightclub at around 3 a.m., when photos were taken of the couple.
A juicy story to be sure, except for one thing. The player identified in the photo was not Suh but rather Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs.

But even more revealing about the mistake was that it was Jones, the U.S. Summer and Winter Olympian, was the one that pointed out the error to gossipextra.com.
"Track star Lolo Jones, obviously a Gossip Extra fan, is the one who told us about the switcheroo," gossipextra.com wrote.
"We stand, humbly, corrected.
"Sorry Lolo, sorry Ndamukong."
In September of 2012, MediaTakeout.com reported that Jones, Olympic hurdler by summer and bobsled push athlete by winter, was dating Suh, then of the Detroit Lions.
ESPN.com shot down that rumor at the time:
" 'We are not currently dating,' said Jones, who is preparing along with other Olympians for their visit Friday to the White House. 'However, if the Lions win the Super Bowl and he wants to use the ring to propose to me, then we'll see.'
"Jones and Suh are good friends and joke all the time. They share the same agent and have been seen at events together, but they aren't dating."
Gossipextra.com used "girlfriend" to describe Jones in regards to Suh. It did not address whether it confirmed that information with Jones when she corrected the photo identification.
