PGA Tour Leaderboard: The Players Championship Round 3 Recap, Chris Kirk Captures Lead

The third day of The Players Championship came to a close on Saturday, with Chris Kirk capturing the lead.

Bill Haas, Kevin Kisner and Ben Martin are all one stroke back, while Jerry Kelly, Sergio Garcia, Kevin Na, David Hearn, Scott Brown and Justin Thomas round out the top 10. Below is a recap of the third day's events (via PGA Tour).

What They're Saying

Kevin Kisner: "We've [Chris Kirk and I] probably played 200 or 300 rounds of golf together between qualifying and college tournaments. We'll have a lot of fun. Hopefully, it will just be like an old qualifying round. We'll go out and see who can make the most birdies and add it up at the end."

Chris Kirk: "I had a chance to sort of lose it a little bit today. I didn't let it bother me, and thankfully I was able to birdie the next three to pull out a great round."

Jhonattan Vegas: "About three years ago, I finished seventh here, was kind of in a similar situation that I'm going to be on Sunday, so it's a good feeling. Should be a fun Sunday."
