PGA Tour Leaderboard: Wells Fargo Championship Round 2 Recap, Webb Simpson and Robert Streb Tied for Lead

The second day of the Wells Fargo Championship came to a close on Friday, with Webb Simpson and Robert Streb sitting atop the leaderboard.

Martin Flores and Patrick Rodgers sit two strokes back at 8-under, while Rory McIlroy, Will MacKenzie and Phil Mickelson are all within range. Below is a recap of the second day's events (via PGA Tour).

What They're Saying

Webb Simpson: "I saw so many people, friends and family and heard my name a lot. I'm sure tomorrow [Saturday] will be fun. I think if I'm 1 over at any point tomorrow early in the round, I think that support will help me. I'm not putting myself under that much stress. I'm making it good on myself. I drove the ball beautifully at TPC Sawgrass and I've continued to do that this week."

Patrick Rodgers: "Most of the tee shots set up really, really well for me. It really suits a high draw off the tee. It's been a big advantage so far. I just watched Jordan win the Masters and make it look pretty easy. That gives me a ton of confidence."

Martin Flores: "When I just step on the tee, I feel very, very comfortable out here."
