Because of that drastic improvement, Butler is going to be highly coveted this summer when his contract with the Bulls expires. There are reports that the Bulls are confident that they can re-sign Butler, but many think that he wants to explore his options and has eyes for the Lakers or the Knicks.
According to TMZ, actor Mark Wahlberg has another suggestion for Butler: join Wahlber's beloved Boston Celtics. Wahlberg and Butler were spotted hanging out together in Beverly Hills, and the actor admitted that he would love to see Butler in green next year.

Wahlberg also acknowledges that whoever signs Butler is going to have to pay up to do so. Butler has shown that he has the chops to be a legitimate star in the NBA, and he could fetch a max deal on the open market.
Butler has given no indications about his preferred free agent destination (if he even has one), but Celtics fans are surely hoping that Marky Mark will be able to charm the young shooting guard into being the centerpiece of an up-and-coming Celtics team.
