Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari has launched his own clothing line.
The “Coach John Calipari Refuse to Lose Signature Series” is now available online at St-brands.com and at select retailers including Walmart, Kroger, Kennedy Book Store and the University of Kentucky Book Store.
St-brands describes the line as “designed for athletes, businessmen, women, and fans everywhere.” It further touts the clothing as “made with a blended material that quickly wicks away sweat, everything in the Coach John Calipari Refuse to Lose Signature Series is geared towards comfort and breathability under high-performance use.”
The line includes shirts, shorts, sweatpants and collared shirts. St-brands execs added more options and designs will be added to the online store as product becomes available.
Calipari added that one of his primary motivations in creating the line is to raise money for charity. Partial proceeds from all sales will go the John Calipari Foundation, which invests in communities across the world, whether they are educational, social or spiritual in nature. The foundation’s purpose is to improve the quality of life both in and through these communities, with a particular focus on enriching the lives of children.
Over the years, The Calipari Foundation has worked with such organizations as the Starkey Hearing Foundation, Samaritan’s Feet, the American Red Cross, 4 Paws for Ability, the Everfi Financial Literacy program, the Urban League of Lexington, the V Foundation and more.
