AJ Styles left TNA behind and it appears as though right now his focus is on his current endeavors.

Amid speculation that the WWE is interested in the star, Styles turned down a Hall of Fame induction from TNA because his focus is currently on Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

According to Wrestlingheadlies.com, the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion declined a significant offer from Dixie Carter's company that would have led to him entering the TNA Hall of Fame and wrestling a match at this year's Slammiversary event.

Per the report, a multi-date deal was also discussed between the two sides several months ago and would have led to Styles competing at Slammiversary and Bound for Glory and also would have included the Hall of Fame induction.

Though Styles is focused on ROH and NJPW, the WWE is also reportedly interested in inking him to a deal as the company continues to accrue talent.

Styles also took to Twitter to clarify that he didn't hate the company, but his priorites are elsewhere.

The WWE used to not have much interest in him, but after they signed Samoa Joe despite their past stance on him, it appears the organization has shifted gears.

The WWE is looking to sign as much talent as possible and there are rumors it wants to have three touring brands in 2016, with NXT and the main roster being two of them. That's reportedly why the WWE changed its stance on Styles.

Styles calls NJPW home and is loyal to ROH, so it remains to be seen if he'll jump ship to WWE. Styles is also still under contract, so it's unknown how long Vince McMahon's company would have to wait to pounce.

Styles, 37, was a stalwart in TNA from 2002-14, but after contract talks between the two sides hit a snag last December, he decided to part ways with the company after nearly 12 years in Carter's organization.

Styles later revealed that TNA offered him as much as $220,000 a year to stay with them, but he opted to become a free agent and return to the independent circuit, re-joining ROH and NJPW.

There were reports at the time of the negotiations that Styles felt insulted by the company's offer and approach.

Styles is a three-time NWA Heavyweight Champion and two-time TNA Heavyweight Champion among his many achievements through the years in the ring, but it appears as though he is done with all facets of TNA for now.
