WWE Rumors: Physical Hall of Fame Coming Soon?

Making it to the WWE Hall of Fame is considered one of the greatest honors for WWE Superstars and now that achievement may mean even more -- to the tune of a physical Hall of Fame.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, amid years of rumors that there could be a physical Hall of Fame, NBC Universal is considering an actual Hall of Fame for Universal Studios in Orlando as part of their pitch to keep WWE programming on their network.

It has also been reported that Triple H is one person who is very interested in a physcial museum for the company's Hall of Fame and even newer rumors have emerged concerning Orlando possibly being the area where the WWE would do that.

An announcement could come as soon as August as NBA City at Universal CityWalk in Orlando is closing after NBC Universal opted not to renew the lease. The company is slated to announce a replacement as soon as August when the CityWalk shuts down, and it's possible the WWE Hall of Fame could be the replacement.

Theme park website BeyondTheThrills.com reports that part of the new plans after NBA City closes include include a Cheesecake Factory restaurant, a Universal movie set themed restaurant and a WWE Hall of Fame restaurant.

These are treated as just rumors for now, but the WWE could get back in the restaurant business for the first time since the closing of WWE New York and The World in Times Square.

The WWE has had its Hall of Fame for years, but there hasn't been a physical place for fans to see the inductees outside of the annual ceremony.

The Hall of Fame is a staple of WrestleMania, airing every year the night before the biggest show of the WWE's year.

Now, there may be a place to house all these special moments.
