Stevan Ridley is the latest in what seems to be a mission to seek out every player ever associated with Tom Brady for a comment on Deflategate.
Ridley, who signed as a free agent with the New York Jets in the offseason, suffered a torn ACL last season as a member of the New England Patriots and did not play in the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.

That didn't detract reporters from asking the running back about his knowledge of Deflategate. NJ.com reported that the LSU alum refused repeated inquiries seeking comment about the Patriots and Brady allegedly deflating footballs.
Apparently, he reached a breaking point on Thursday.

"They made a mistake," Ridley told NJ.com. "The best thing that can happen is that they deal with that on their own. That has nothing to do with the New York Jets, and this is where I am now."
Ridley didn't elaborate on what the mistake actually was. Like the majority of so-called experts weighing in on the subject, Ridley said that the incident in no way takes away from the greatness of the Patriots organization.
"At the end of the day, the Super Bowl champs are the Super Bowl champs," said Ridley, whom NJ.com reported is still friends with many of his former teammates and even accompanied them to the White House in April. "The football is deflated or not, it took a lot of hard work to get there. I'm not saying they're right; I'm not saying they're wrong. But what I am saying is you can't take away that they got that title.
"With that whole Deflategate deal, I put that on the Patriots, and I'm going to let them deal with that." [Coach] Bill [Belichick] does a good job of making all that go away. So what they've got to do is just focus and play ball. ... That whole deal is behind me, behind them, and I don't really want to comment too much on that because that's not something that I personally had to deal with. I'm out of that."
The subject may be coming more popular as Brady's appeal of his four-game suspension for his involvement in Deflategate takes place June 23.
