Johnny Manziel Autograph Investigation Update: Parents Are Trying To Sell Home Outside College Station, Texas -- Are They Sending a Message?

Johnny Manziel's parents are leaving town. Are they just anticipating what fate might befall their son?

FoxSports.com reported Wednesday that Manziel's parents are selling their home just outside of College Station, Texas.

According to realtor.com, Paul Manziel (his name is listed as "John Paul Manziel") and his wife, Michelle, have put their home in nearby Bryan, Texas, on the market. According to the article, the Manziels bought the home in June of 2011 to be closer to their son while he played college football at Texas A&M.

Michelle Manziel is a realtor in College Station.

The 8-year-old, four-bedroom, four-bath 2,800 square-foot home is listed for $379,000 on the Realtor.com Web site.

The Manziels are from Kerrville, Texas, which is a four-hour drive from College Station. But Paul Manziel recently commented that his son would leave the school after Texas A&M, according to FoxSports.com. The web site added that Manziel has indicated on Twitter that he can't wait to leave school.

All that was prior to the allegations that Johnny Manziel has accepted money for signing autographs. The 2012 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback has had a tumultuous offseason since leading the Aggies to an 11-2 record and a Cotton Bowl victory last season.

In fact, Manziel's parents originally put their Bryan home on the market in May with an original asking price of $405,000, realtor.com reports. Has the price been reduced for a quick sale?

The following is a description of the home on realtor.com:

"Located just 15 minutes away from the Texas A&M campus, the Miramont property offers a total of four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. It has all your general living spaces, such as a kitchen, formal dining area and living room, along with more intimate areas such as a private study and a master suite with his-and-her walk-in closets and a fireplace. Not included in the sale, however, are the many antler chandeliers, taxidermied critters and other hunting trophies found throughout the home."

No mention of the Heisman Trophy in the sale, but at this point, it's not a guarantee that Johnny will get to keep that, either.
