Tim Tebow News 2015: Giants Punter Steve Weatherford Jabs Eagles QBs [VIDEO]

Punter Steve Weatherford may play for the New York Giants, but it didn't stop him from lambasting the division rival Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback situation.

Weatherford appeared on Boomer & Carton last week on WFAN in New York and jabbed the Eagles' trio under center of Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford.

"I'm the biggest Tim Tebow fan in the world," Weatherford said on the show, according to ESPN. "I mean, who wouldn't want their daughter to date a guy like that? I'll tell you what, I don't want him taking snaps for my team."

Tebow wasn't the lone signal caller under fire in the interview as Weatherford compared Sanchez and Bradford to automobiles.

"I'm gonna give you a Ferrari [Bradford] that maybe won't be running all the time, or I'm giving you a nice Cadillac sedan [Sanchez]," Weatherford said. "It's not the fastest but you know what you're going to get out of it. Bradford can go from zero to 60 in three seconds, but you don't know if he's gonna start up some days."

Bradford is in the final year of a contract that pays him $12.95 million this upcoming season and he was acquired during this whirlwind of an offseason for the Eagles in a trade with the St. Louis Rams.

Weatherford said that Philadelphia should be cautious with Bradford, who hasn't played since October 2013 due to injuries.

"Chip Kelly will get himself in serious trouble if they get an extension for that guy," Weatherford said. "And [if] he gets hurt? He's done."

Tebow was also acquired this offseason and he hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2012.

Sanchez, 28, went 4-4 in eight starts (nine appearances) and went 198-for-309 (64.1 percent) for 2,418 yards with 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 2014.

The Eagles went 10-6 last season and finished second in the NFC East while missing the playoffs. Philadelphia underwent several offseason changes following the 2014 campaign.
