Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard has been criticized for being "a big kid trapped in a man's body" in the way he approaches his NBA career.
But his demeanor was nothing but positive in his actions over the weekend.

The Houston Chronicle reported that Howard spent his Sunday afternoon at a movie theater in Richardson, Texas, as his D12 Foundation teamed with Fandango to host a screening of Disney Pixar's new animated movie, "Inside Out" for the Boys and Girls Club of Houston.
The Chronicle added that Howard has spent the offseason trying to become more active in his community. He said his love for movies and desire to impact children positively made Sunday a special event for him.

ABC13.com, a Houston local television affiliate, added that Howard handed out popcorn himself to the moviegoers. He said he's a big Pixar fan, naming "Finding Nemo" as his favorite movie.
"I'm a big kid trapped in a big man's body. You only have one life, and I think you got to live it to the fullest and enjoy yourself," said Howard.
The 11-year NBA veteran was limited to 41 games in 2014-15 because of knee injuries, averaging 15.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. He still was able to help Houston reach the Western Conference Finals, where they lost to the Golden State Warriors in five games.
Prior to his joining the Rockets, Howard spent one tumultuous season with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he often was at odds with Kobe Bryant. Howard, who smiles a lot on the court, was viewed as not serious enough about winning a title, which grated on the ultra-competitive Bryant's nerves.
Howard seems to have made the right decision to leave LA, not only for his NBA career, but to also begin to have a community impact.
The Chronicle reported that Howard always has been a big fan of animated films and hopes to provide his voice to a Disney Pixar character someday.
