Twitter provided the backdrop for one world champion to give accolades to another.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins took to Twitter to contact new TNA Heavyweight Champion Ethan Carter III and he told him to "enjoy the ride" after congratulating him.
Carter responded and told The Architect to "keep killing it."

Carter defeated Kurt Angle to win his first TNA Heavyweight Championship on Wednesday's edition of Impact Wrestling, which was taped on June 25 in Orlando, Fla.
Angle had returned to TNA and won the title, holding it for 195 days before dropping it to Carter.

Rollins, of course, has been on top of the WWE mountain since his shocking win at WrestleMania 31.
The former Shield member set the wrestling world abuzz when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to interrupt Brock Lesnar's World Heavyweight Championship main event defense against Rollins' ex-Hounds of Justice stablemate Roman Reigns.
Rollins turned the bout into a Triple Threat Match and nailed the Curb Stomp on Reigns, pinning him to capture his first world title on the grandest stage of his profession in one of the most shocking conclusions in WrestleMania history at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area on March 29.
Rollins has held that title for 95 days now and his next big defense is against Lesnar, who wasn't pinned to lose the gold, on July 19 at WWE Battleground at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
Though they're on top of different companies, it was nice to see a mutual respect between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Rollins and TNA Heavyweight Champion Carter.
