Freaks and Geeks were reunited momentarily on Thursday when current WWE Diva Paige met up with retired Diva AJ Lee in Los Angeles.

Paige posted a photo on her official Twitter account of her and Lee together and wrote the following caption:
"In LA and look who I got to see!! @WWEAJLee coffee and a catch up! Missed you!! #FreaksAndGeeks."

The #FreaksAndGeeks hashtag was then trending following Paige sharing the picture on social media.
Paige made her WWE debut on the night after WrestleMania XXX in April 2014, defeating Lee for the Divas Championship on her first night on the main roster.
Lee then went on hiatus before returning and dethroning Paige for her third and final reign at Night of Champions 2014 before dropping it to current title-holder Nikki Bella at the Survivor Series in November.
Bella is on Day 229 of her reign and will likely surpass Lee's record of 295 days that she set from June 2013 up until Paige usurped her in April 2014.

Though they were rivals for a while, Paige and Lee actually began to mesh together and became on-screen friends, leading to them teaming together.
Lee's last high-profile match in the WWE saw her team with Paige at WrestleMania 31 in March and take on The Bella Twins, a match which the duo won after Lee got the pinfall victory on the Divas Champion Nikki.
Lee retired shortly thereafter, likely due to the troubles between her husband, former WWE Superstar-turned-UFC fighter CM Punk, and the WWE.
Punk walked out on the WWE in January 2014 and bashed a lot of aspects of the organization on Colt Cabana's podcast that November, taking aim at company doctor Chris Amann and saying he misdiagnosed him on several occasions.
Amann swiftly countered with a lawsuit, which is reportedly what led to Lee's departure from the company.
Lee stayed with the WWE for over a year despite tying the knot with Punk in June, but she ended up leaving once things got out of hand between the two sides.
While they'll likely never reunite in a WWE ring again, Paige and Lee appear to still be good friends outside of the squared circle.
