Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis, the girlfriend of notorious bachelor Derek Jeter, is sporting a huge diamond ring on her left finger, begging the question of if she and the 39-year-old New York Yankees star may soon be getting hitched.
The 23-year-old Davis, who has been described as the “next Kate Upton,” it rumored to have been dating Jeter since as far back as last summer.
The New York Daily News reports a rep for Jeter didn’t return phone calls seeking comment, while a Davis spokesperson responded “we don’t comment on our clients’ personal lives.”
Over his 19-year MLB career, Jeter has been romantically linked to such A-list beauties as Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Mariah Carey, Jordana Brewster, Minka Kelly, Vanessa Minnillo, Gabrielle Union, Scarlett Johansson, Lara Dutta and Adriana Lima.
“That guy is the model,” 24-year-old Mets star pitcher and would-be NYC King Matt Harvey recently told Men’s Journal. “I mean, first off, let’s just look at the women he’s dated. Obviously, he goes out — he’s meeting these girls somewhere — but you never hear about it. That’s where I want to be.”
Apparently Jeter isn’t the only one who places a premium on discretion. When Ocean Drive magazine recently asked Davis if she and Jeter were an item, she simply responded, “I would rather go to a Yankees game than a Mets game. That’s my final answer.”
