WWE 'SummerSlam' 2015 Rumors: 5 Possible Outcomes To Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar [VIDEO]

The Deadman and The Beast will go one-on-one in one of the most hyped matches in SummerSlam history on Aug. 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

5 Best Undertaker Matches In SummerSlam History

This rematch has been marinating since Brock Lesnar was booked to end The Streak of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX in April 2014 and now the Demon from Death Valley is set to get some vengeance after costing The Beast the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground.

A lot can happen on the road to SummerSlam as Lesnar and Undertaker prepare to headline the first edition of The Biggest Party of the Summer to ever emanate from Brooklyn.

Ranking Brock Lesnar's Past SummerSlam Opponents

Here's a look at five possible endings to The Deadman vs. The Beast while admittedly some are more likely than others.

1) Revenge of the 'Taker

It was just about a year and a half ago when the wrestling world stood still in stunned silence. The referee counted three, "21-1" flashed on screens through the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans and the collective jaws around the arena dropped. A lot of people didn't want to believe it, but it was reality: The Undertaker was booked to lose at WrestleMania.

The name Brock Lesnar will forever by synonymous with the end of The Streak as Paul Heyman's client became the man to end it all. 'Taker returned and didn't address The Streak at WrestleMania 31, rather setting his sights on Bray Wyatt, who he successfully defeated.

Now, The Undertaker has once again set his sights on Lesnar, saying that The Beast and his manager's constant bragging about ending The Streak drew his ire.

It seems that this could be set up for The Undertaker getting his revenge on the duo at SummerSlam with a clean win, possibly leading to a third match at WrestleMania 32, or even Survivor Series if the WWE wants to improve that event after making strides last year.

Lesnar hardly ever loses, so this would be huge.

2) The Beast is Reborn

The WWE has booked Lesnar as a dominant beast and he's decimated stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Triple H since his return to action, barely suffering any blemishes on his win-loss record.

Lesnar absolutely destroyed The Undertaker in kayfabe and reality (Undertaker was reportedly injured during the match) at WrestleMania XXX, so the WWE will have to pull a lot of strings to make it believable that a 50-year-old Undertaker can overcome a former UFC champion.

While it's unlikely that The Undertaker absorbs two losses, it would at least be realistic if Lesnar defeated The Deadman again, possibly causing him to contemplate retirement.

With 'Taker likely to disappear after this bout and Lesnar still under contract, the win could continue to make the former Next Big Thing look like an unstoppable force.

3) Heyman Hustle

This is another scenario that may not happen, but there is precedent behind it as there is a possibility that Paul Heyman turns on Brock Lesnar to help The Undertaker win.

No one ever thought 'Taker's manager Paul Bearer would ever betray him, but he did just that at this very event in 1996 in what was a shocking turn of events. Heyman has even turned on Lesnar in the past and it happened to occur in New York City, at Manhattan's Madison Square Garden at the 2002 Survivor Series.

While you can never count anything out with Heyman, Lesnar needs the mouthpiece and it wouldn't make sense to have him pair with The Undertaker, who is likely to disappear. Still, Heyman could move onto someone else and as they say, anything can happen in the WWE.

4) Fight Owens, Fight!

Kevin Owens has made it no big secret that he wants to feud with Brock Lesnar and he went as far as to recently say that "a lot of people would love" to see the match happen.

He isn't wrong, the thought of Owens vs. Lesnar as a rivalry is great as the two big guys go could do battle in a marquee match and it would also have the nice backdrop of the former NXT Champion admitting he used to be in awe of Lesnar when he would watch his matches in 2002.

Owens has already made a splash during his 2015 Feud of the Year candidate with John Cena, but after he absorbed two losses in three matches with the United States Champion, he needs something to keep him fresh in everyone's minds or else he runs the risk of fading into the background.

What better way to make your presence known then to show up during the biggest main event at one of the greatest spectacles of the year and costing Lesnar the match against The Undertaker to set up his next huge feud?

5) A SummerSlam Stinger

It had always seemed that The Undertaker and Sting were set to clash at WrestleMania, but this past year the Show of Shows came and both men were booked -- only they were slated for different matches. 'Taker defeated Bray Wyatt while Sting fell to Triple H in his first -- and thus far only -- WWE match.

Sting has said over and over again in videos and interviews that he always wanted to wrestle The Undertaker and that he didn't care if it was at WrestleMania even without The Streak.

There were reports Sting would be on the SummerSlam card (likely teaming with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose), but those plans have since been nixed, despite the former TNA and WCW icon coming to New York City for an autograph session on the Saturday before SummerSlam.

The WWE could have The Vigilante interrupt The Undertaker's match to finally pick a fight with The Deadman and set something up between the two down the line.

This could be farfetched for many reasons, the first being that it would make Sting a heel if he costs The Undertaker the match, the second being that it wouldn't allow The Deadman to get his full revenge on Lesnar and the final concern being that the event worthy of such a showdown is Survivor Series and that isn't until November. It's possible the WWE Network could have a special regarding the bout to make it a big deal, but it remains to be seen.

Anything can happen when The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar clash at SummerSlam on Aug. 23 at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn.
