Dallas Mavericks Rumors: Mark Cuban Would Consider Becoming Donald Trump's Running Mate [VIDEO]

Talk about a match made in Reality TV heaven.

In a little more than a week, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has gone from bashing Donald Trump to considering becoming Vice "Paper Tiger."

Business Insider contacted Cuban, who stars on the reality TV show Shark Tank, on his CyberDust app to gauge his political interest in becoming Trump's running mate. Trump was star of The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice for years

"Would I consider?" Cuban said. "Yes.

Mark Cuban says Donald Trump is too broke to run for president?

"Would I do it? Probably not," he continued. "I'm not cut out for politics. At least [the] way they are now. Maybe in the future if Trump truly impacts how the game is played."

Ah, but that's what has attracted Cuban over to The Donald's side.

The Dallas Morning News posted Cuban's comments on Trump on July 20 on CyberDust when the Mavericks boss called Trump a "paper tiger" whose net worth is a "play number."

"He has been bragging that he is worth north of ten billion dollars.

"Ok. While's it's a big number, it's not an important number. In fact it's a play number.

"Let's say you own a painting that gets appraised at 10 billion dollars. That gives you a net worth of 10 billion. But that does not mean you have a lot of cash.

"In fact it's possible to be worth billions, but not be able to pay your rent."

One week later, Trump's rhetoric had Cuban practically swooning.

"I have to honestly [say] he is probably the best thing to happen to politics in a long time.

"I don't care what his actual positions are.

"I don't care if he says the wrong thing.

"He says what's on his mind. He gives honest answers rather than prepared answers."

If Trump continues to gain momentum toward the White House in 2016, who's to say Cuban won't begin to believe that Trump is impacting the nature of politics?

A former Texas Rangers owner already has been president, so Cuban would be carrying on a Texas tradition.
