James Harden, Khloe Kardashian Rumors: Friends Pressuring NBA Star To Break It Off [VIDEO]

It's OK for James Harden to have his fun now, but when basketball season starts, it's time to get out of the Kardashian business.

That's what Harden's friends are telling the Rockets star, according to Hollywoodlife.com.

Relationship between James Harden, Khloe Kardashian intensifies after birthday bash

"James is getting a lot of flak from a lot of his friends around the league," an insider tells HollywoodLife.com. "They are telling him to enjoy Khloe during the off-season, but to dump her before the regular season begins. They're warning him that she's bad for business and urging James to look at Lamar Odom's life as an example of what could possibly happen to him!"

Harden, the 2014-15 NBA Most Valuable Player runner-up, has just signed a 13-year, $200 million endorsement contract with Adidas and is at the top of his popularity.

James Harden-Khloe Kardashian relationship still intact despite cheating claim against Harden

All the more reason to call it a day with Kardashian, the source told Hollywoodlife.com.

"He needs not one thing from Khloe," our source adds. "Not money, not fame - nothing! He's already self-made and his NBA brothers are telling him not to get 'caught up in that circus' with Khloe and her family. They want him to get his mind right: He's on Earth to hoop, not be some sell-out reality star."

News of a relationship between the two became public when they attempted to have a secret getaway in Hawaii in June. Kardashian and Harden were spotted in a nightclub, and later she was spotted at his hotel suite.

The two apparently have survived rumors of an affair between Harden and an Australian college student in Sydney, as well as meddling from Kardashian's ex-husband, former NBA star Lamar Odom.

Us Magazine reported that Odom and Kardashian got in a screaming match outside a spin gym on Wednesday. Odom denied harassing her to TMZ Sports.
