All eyes remain fixated on Tiger Woods, who at No. 187 in the standings, is in danger of missing FedEx Cup action. (Only the top 125 players in the standings make it into the playoffs).
Woods' only saving grace will be a victory in Greensboro, but he will face tough competition in order to obtain it. The field at the Wyndham Championship includes 13 former major champions and six of the previous eight FedEx Cup winners.

With heavy hitters the likes of Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy absent from Sedgefield Country Club, Brooks Koepka opens as the tournament's odds-on favorite. Fresh off a tied-for-fifth performance at the PGA Championship, the 25-year-old is a +1200 according to oddsmakers, per Bovada.
Brandt Snedeker and Hideki Matsuyama are all second-choice at +1600. Woods opened at a modest +4000.
Prediction
Way down at +4500, Carl Pettersson enters the weekend with a proven track record in North Carolina. The Swede has two top-five finishes in his last six appearances and last won this event in 2008. He'll rely on current form and experience to duplicate previous success.
