Lil Wayne, T.I., 2 Chainz Tour Bus Stopped In Oklahoma, Arrests Made And Drugs Suspected To Be On Board

A tour bus with connections to the Lil Wayne, T.I., 2Chainz concert tour was been pulled over in Oklahoma and police suspects drugs may have been on the vehicle.

According to TMZ, the bus was pulled over just after midnight early Thursday morning on Interstate 40 and Meridian because its taillights were out and passengers onboard immediately locked themselves inside and refused to cooperate with authorities. The website reports both Wayne and T.I are thought to have left town by private jet earlier Wednesday night, but it is unclear if 2Chainz was on the bus.

Police have since gained a search warrant and are said to be conducting a thorough search of the vehicle. TMZ also reports several passengers have already been arrested on charges of “interfering with police process” and cops towed the bus to a nearby police training facility while people were still inside.

All three rappers performed at the nearby Chesapeake Energy arena on Wednesday. Both Wayne and T.I. have previously served prison time for various offenses.

In 2010, Wayne served nearly eight months at New York’s Riker’s Island following a drug related conviction and T.I served nearly nine months in federal prison in 2009 following his conviction on felony gun charges. He was also required to pay more than $100,000 in restitution.
