NBA veteran Lamar Odom has reunited with Khloe Kardashian, his reality TV star wife, according to TMZ.
The website reports Odom, 33, returned home sometime late Monday and he and Kardashian have since been holed up in their California mansion “addressing some serious issues.”
Probably chief among the topics is Odom’s reported ongoing drug use. TMZ reported this week Odom has a “hardcore” drug problem and briefly entered a drug treatment facility last summer before abruptly bolting after just three weeks.
On Tuesday, TMZ added Kardashian family members fear he may be hooked on the drugs OxyContin and Ambien.
In recent months, Odom has also been dogged by allegations of infidelity. At least two women have recently stepped forward to claim they engaged in longtime affairs with him, with 29-year-old Washington stripper Jennifer Richardson alleging the two openly talked of having a child together.
Still, the couple has not addressed the prospect of divorce, according to TMZ, adding that “Khloe is determined to help Lamar get his life back on track.”
A source close to the couple also told TMZ “Lamar is open to reason and listening to the people who love him the most."
Odom played for the Los Angeles Clippers last season but is now a free agent.
