Manchester United Transfer News: Neymar Close To New Deal, Move To Old Trafford Won't Be 'For Many Years'

Any delusions you had of seeing Neymar in a Manchester United shirt can be forgotten now. The Brazilian is close to agreeing to a new contract with Barcelona according to technical director Robert Fernandez, per Goal.

Rafinha -- who suffered a knee injury in Champions League in will miss most of the season -- is also said to be close to a new deal.

"They're on track," Fernandez said. "They're very important players who will be at Barcelona for many years."

"The fans can relax. Neymar's staying at Barça," he told Cuatro, per Football Espana. "We don't need to negotiate anything with Barça because [Neymar] still has three more years on his contract."

Logically speaking, leaving Barcelona makes zero sense for Neymar's career. Especially to United, who have failed to live up to the club's pristine reputation in 2015.
