Chivas Guadalajara Rumors: Jorge Vergara Accused Of Lying, Slowly Killing Mexico's Biggest Club [VIDEO]

The two biggest clubs in Mexico will battle on Saturday, when Chivas Guadalajara visit America at the Estadio Azteca. At least that's Jorge Vergara wants you to think.

The Chivas owner's self-destructive tendencies, habitual lies and calamitous decisions are killing one of Mexico's giants.

In less than a month, Vergara has sacked manager Jose "Chepo" de la Torre and club president Nestor de la Torre. His five-year plan of returning Chivas to the summit of Mexican football has since transformed to a relegation battle.

No stranger to Vergara's idiocy, Nestor de la Torre expected nothing less.

"I must admit that I already know Jorge and his ways," he said, per Medio Tiempo. "I can't say that being sacked wasn't expected. We drafted a three-year plan [to save the club], being fully aware of the norm. In three years, eight coaches [have come and gone].

"Lies have become a habit," he added. "They are making a habit of lies of half-truths, of readjusting. I am conscious that an owner can make any decision he wants, but it's not fair to step over people to justify their decisions."

America, on the other hand, couldn't be standing on more solid ground.

The club won the 2014 Apertura title and the 2014-15 CONCACAF Champions League. With 18 points, another playoff run is virtual certainty. For Chivas, who knows.

The club is as likely to qualify for the Liguilla as it is to be relegated. This is reality Vergara created for the 11-time champions.
