Tom Brady became just the fourth player in NFL history to throw 400 career TDs on Sunday, joining Peyton Manning (535), Brett Favre (508) and Dan Marino (420). The four-time Super Bowl champion now has the statistics to marry his trophies with.

But where does it rank him among such elite company?
4. Dan Marino
Dan Marino's biggest regret was being born in the wrong era. The former Dolphins QB was the first QB to truly test the limits of a pass-oriented offense, setting records for the most pass attempts, completions, yards and TDs before retiring in 1999.
He just never had the silverware to match it.
3. Brett Favre
Brett Favre would eventually surpass Marino in every statistical category. He also has the added benefit of winning a Super Bowl to pamper his legacy. Working against him, however, are the 336 career INTs he gifted the opposition.
More than any other QB in NFL history.
2. Peyton Manning
Somehow, Peyton Manning is still standing. The 39-year-old has more neck surgeries than rings, but that hasn't kept him from being awarded five NFL MVPs. Manning was named MVP of Super Bowl XLI and has more TDs than any other QB in NFL history.

1. Tom Brady
What Manning doesn't have, however, is more Super Bowl trophies than Tom Brady. Asterisk or not, Brady has featured in six Super Bowls -- winning four of them -- and was named NFL MVP twice (2007, 2010).
He ranks first on this list, but only because Joe Montana threw 273 TDs in his illustrious career.
