Jordan Spieth Relationship Update: Golfer Too Young & Rich To Settle Down With Annie Verret [VIDEO]

After this weekend, golfer Jordan Spieth has 22 million reasons to celebrate.

The Texan set a PGA Tour record by earning $12 million in prize money and $10 million in bonus cash for winning the FedEx Cup, making a total haul of $22 million. Spieth, 22, could likely have any girl in the world right now, but he's been dating girlfriend Annie Verret for years, though no engagement appears to be imminent.

PGA Tour Final Round Recap

Verret was on hand as Spieth became golf's first $22 million man and their relationship is a very nice story of high school sweethearts who are still dating into adulthood. Verret and Spieth's family were there to soak in the occasion this weekend, but with Spieth's success financially, there are questions over whether he should be on the prowl or start to settle down with Verret.

In college, Spieth attended the University of Texas, while Verret went to Texas Tech, but the romance didn't waver between the two. With many young athletes, and some older sports figures (looking at you, Tiger), success and money brings on a lot of temptation and sometimes the worst in people, but so far Spieth and Verret have continued to blossom together.

Tiger Woods Losing Popularity Contest To Jordan Spieth

There are two sides to the argument as on one hand, Spieth is young and rich and could possibly land anyone, while on the other, the couple has been through it all and Verret has been by his side through everything. Maybe it all comes down to her influence on him, as even Spieth acknowledged he's having his best season ever.

"It's the greatest season I've ever had, obviously," Spieth said via ESPN. "But it's one where I believe we took our game on course and off course to a level that I didn't think would be possible at different times in my life."

Hell, they're a cute couple, maybe they'll go the distance.
