Michael Sam has been an NFL and CFL washout thus far, and he’s headed back to his alma mater, the University of Missouri, to hone his broadcasting skills. At least that’s what he said he’s there for. According to TMZ, his return might be a man-finding expedition.
Sam, using the social media app Periscope, Sam’s friend Ladamian Washington joked about finding a potential wife on campus. Sam joked back, "I might try to find a husband in here."

Sam still has not explicitly stated he’s broken up with Vito Cammisano, with whom he shared one of the most famous kisses in American history when he was drafted in the seventh round of the NFL Draft last year. Sam and Cammisano were engaged, but appear to be finished as an item. During his trip around campus he also joked with two girls that he was going to dress up as Cruella DeVille for Halloween.
Sam was drafted by the Rams, and eventually wound up on the Cowboys, but never saw the field for a down of regular season football. He eventually moved on to the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL, but flamed out. Sam recently said he is taking a break from football for now, but has not given up his dream of playing in the NFL.

“I actually let go of my agent recently and also let go of my publicist, so I’m just really focusing on me right now. While I’m working on my media training, and working on my Masters, I’ll also continue to pursue my NFL career,” Sam said.
