"Our source tells us Ashton Wilson is still legally married to Russell Wilson, the divorce is not final due to the fight over money settlement (and) before contract talks finalized it was delayed yet again. Wilson and Meem were high school sweethearts, as they began dating in 2006. They married in 2012 and announced their plans to divorce in 2014.

Wilson and Ciara began dating in the spring and have been seen together on numerous occasions since. Rumors that the two have initiated the process of applying for a marriage license were made public over the summer.
Up until now, Ciara's ex-boyfriend, rap star Future, has been the most vocal against the relationship between Wilson and the pop singer.
Future and Ciara have a son together, toddler Future Zahir. Future has been angry that Ciara was so quick to introduce their son to Wilson and make Wilson a fixture in his life so soon.
Wilson signed a four-year contract extension worth $87.6 million over the summer.
