NXT 'Takeover Respect' Predictions & Preview: Sasha Banks, Bayley Prepare To Steal The Show [VIDEOS]

NXT has taken the world by storm, and the next big event for the franchise, NXT Takeover: Respect, will continue to raise the bar for the WWE's future.

There is plenty to look forward to on the card, but nothing is bigger than Bayley putting her NXT Women's Championship on the line against Sasha Banks in an Iron Woman Match. After the two stole the show in Brooklyn in August, it will be interesting to see how they manage to top themselves within the confines of a 30-minute match.

Another highlight on the show will be the semifinals and finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which is dedicated to the legendary Hall of Famer, who passed away in June.

Without further ado, here are our predictions for NXT Takeover: Respect.

3 Reasons Bayley Will Retain At Takeover

Singles Match: Apollo Crews vs. Tyler Breeze

Crews looked strong in his debut match against Tye Dillinger at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, and it appears the WWE will look to keep building him up against the solid Breeze. It would make sense for the WWE to keep the ball rolling with Crews.

The Pick: Crews

Singles Match: Asuka vs. Dana Brooke

Asuka, formerly known as Kana, will be making her NXT debut after Brooke crashed her first appearance in the promotion along with Emma. With the WWE treating Asuka's signing like a big deal and wanting to make her the next big threat in the NXT women's division, it would make no sense for her to fall here.

The Pick: Asuka

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semifinals: Finn Balor & Samoa Joe vs. The Mechanics (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder)

This will be a fun match and it's been entertaining to see the NXT Champion teaming with Joe, a former darling of the Indies and TNA. As for a winner, it's hard to bet against an All-Star team of Balor and Joe winning the whole thing, let alone not making it to the finals.

The Pick: Balor & Joe

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semifinals: Jason Jordan & Chad Gable vs. Baron Corbin & Rhyno

The NXT powers that be have made Jordan and Gable into a formidable tandem over the last few weeks after their rocky beginning as partners, and it's likely they'll continue to rise through the ranks by besting Corbin and the veteran Rhyno to enter the finals.

The Pick: Jordan & Gable

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals: Finn Balor & Samoa Joe vs. Jason Jordan & Chad Gable

The NXT creative team could make a splash by having Jordan and Gable go over, but it seems in the name of Rhodes, the super babyface team of Balor and Joe will get the nod and win the trophy, hopefully in a Dusty finish.

The Pick: Balor & Joe

Iron Woman Match NXT Women's Championship: Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks

If the WWE wants to learn how to book a Divas Revolution, look no further than these two. For months, NXT played up the story of Bayley chasing Banks and failing to win the big one. Then, slowly, but surely, she learned from her failures and knocked off several former champions to become No. 1 contender. And finally, at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn in August, Bayley knocked off Banks to conclude a tremendous storyline by earning her first reign as Women's Champion in a bout that is a 2015 Match of the Year candidate.

With these ladies being given 30 minutes to show the world that the future of women's wrestling is now, anything can happen. The duo absolutely floored the crowd at Barclays Center in August and there's no doubt that they are capable of topping themselves in the squared circle at Takeover: Respect when they become the first women to ever partake in an Iron Woman Match.

As for a winner, Banks has done so well as part of Team B.A.D., she has too many big things ahead on the WWE roster to continue on in NXT. "The Boss" appears to be the next big Diva on the main roster, while Bayley has finally won the big one and is due for a tremendous reign as NXT Women's Champion with new foes like Asuka on the horizon.

The Pick: Bayley
