The best way to cash on weekly fantasy football sites is to load up on as many stars with good matchups as possible. Due to budget restraints, however, fantasy players must sacrifice other positions to nab the stars they want.

Best Bargains On FanDuel For Week 6

Quarterbacks

1. Peyton Manning, Broncos ($6,600): Before you throw things, this is a prove it game. Manning’s price is finally dropping, and the Browns are tailor-made for an aging guy like Manning with poor arm strength. His wide receivers are healthy, and Cleveland has no pass rush, so he should dissect them.

2. Marcus Mariota, Titans ($5,800): Mariota is going to feel like he’s been freed from prison going from the Bills’ pass rush last week to Miami’s soft defense. The Dolphins have been pitiful defensively this season, and promoting a tight ends coach to the head coach spot doesn’t inspire much faith in a defensive uptick.

3. Colin Kaepernick, 49ers ($5,000): Yeah, yeah Kaep’s been atrocious this season. He was solid vs. the Giants though, and this week he gets a home game vs. the reeling Ravens. He’ll be fine if he focuses on throwing to Anquan Boldin, and the Ravens have been vulnerable to the running game, where Kaepernick still excels.

Running Backs

1. Frank Gore, Colts ($4,900): Of course, the narrative of this game is that New England will trample the Colts, and run up the score. Life in the NFL is rarely that neat, and if the Colts are smart, they’ll run the hell out of the ball to limit Tom Brady’s time on the field. Gore’s been great lately, and the Pats have been horrible vs. the run in 2015.

2. Lamar Miller, Dolphins ($4,300): Ryan Tannehill’s been awful this year, as has the entire Dolphins offense. To get that squared away, they’ll turn to Miller, who has been criminally underused this year. The matchup vs. Tennessee is favorable, especially since Tennessee struggles vs. RBs in the passing game.

3. Charcandrick West, Chiefs ($4,000): Not often a starting RB costs this little. Riding with West is taking a trip into the unknown, but he’s assured a lot of work, provided Andy Reid doesn’t get nostalgic and force him to split work with the annually ineffective Knile Davis.

Wide Receivers

1. Kendall Wright, Titans ($5,200): The Dolphins rank dead-last vs. No. 1 receivers, which dovetails nicely with Wright recently complaining that he’s not getting enough work. Squeaky wheels get grease in the NFL, and Mariota delivers the grease very accurately.

2. Martavis Bryant, Steelers ($4,000): We’ve got nothing to go on here aside from Bryant’s physical prowess. When he finally gets on the field, Bryant is instantly Pittsburgh’s top deep threat. As Monday night proved, Michael Vick is at his best when launching the ball as far as possible. The Cardinals are not a great matchup by any means, but Bryant is essentially matchup proof, and a bargain right now because he hasn’t played.

3. Tedd Ginn Jr., Panthers ($3,400): The Seahawks have the best secondary in the league but someone has to catch Cam Newton’s passes. While Ginn’s technically their No. 1 receiver, he moves around the field and the Panthers will scheme him open. He’s a big play threat, but at the bare minimum, few players this cheap get his amount of work.

Tight Ends

1. Greg Olsen, Panthers ($5,500): This is the land of under-the-radar names, but every once in a while a star is too valuable to pass up. The Seahawks’ one flaw is stopping tight ends, and Olsen is one of the best in the NFL.

2. Richard Rodgers, Packers ($3,100): The Chargers are bad at stopping tight ends, and Aaron Rodgers is great at throwing the ball to anyone. Richard Rodgers has seen 14 targets in the last two games, so for this price he’s likely a safe bet to get some looks, and probably score a touchdown.

3. Jordan Cameron, Dolphins ($3,000): Cameron is going against the worst defense in the NFL vs. TEs, so even Ryan Tannehill should be able to find his big, athletic pass-catcher this week. Maybe Tennessee should wear Dolphins practice squad jerseys this week to spook Tannehill.
