Lana and Rusev exposed the WWE's storyline as a farce, now it's time for the "Ravishing Russian" to reveal her true self.
The WWE split up the blonde bombshell and the "Bulgarian Brute" in storylines several months ago, but the entire world knew that they were together in real life, especially since they shared on social media that they bought a house together in Nashville. It was at their new digs that Rusev, who in storyline was in love with Summer Rae, popped the question to Lana.

TMZ revealed that the two got engaged, giving the WWE no choice but to add a new wrinkle to the angle, admitting that their two stars got engaged in real life where WWE angles don't exist. This ruined two ongoing storylines for the company as Lana's on-screen relationship with Dolph Ziggler was thrown down the tubes, while Rusev's courtship of Summer Rae also went south.
While it would be nice to see the engagement as a sign that the soap opera is set to end, the WWE had Summer Rae react negatively toward the "Super Athlete" on Monday Night RAW and even got comments from "The Showoff" on the ongoing situation. It seems the impending nuptials between Rusev and Lana will get them back together on television.
Rusev, Lana Engagement Destroying Storylines
Now, it's time for the WWE to end another sham.
Just like anybody with a brain knew that Rusev and Lana were still together in real life, the beautiful valet was born in Gainesville, Fla., and is not in fact Russian. Though her accent is admittedly on-point, Lana was born and bred in America and resides in Nashville. Hell, she's spoken in perfect English in her television and film career.
It's one thing to have a fake name in WWE, as mostly everyone does, but the company has gone as far as it can with Lana being a powerful Russian voice. It's doubtful that the WWE will end the farce, as the perfect time to do it would have been when Lana and Rusev originally broke up, as the former manager could have revealed her charade to her counterpart upon turning face.
It seems the WWE is getting them back together, which is good, while Ziggler should move on to a feud with John Cena after his hiatus and Summer Rae should find something else to do.
Then the only thing left for Lana to do would be to can the act.
