With Lamar Odom ailing, Khloe Kardashian has opted to put her relationship with James Harden on hold.
Odom has been in the hospital ever since being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel, and though he appeared to be making a recovery, his kidneys are failing and he is in need of a transplant. With the crisis still playing out, Kardashian has opted to pump the brakes on her relationship with Harden, according to TMZ.

Kardashian plans to be by Odom's side as he rehabilitates from nearly losing his life due to heavy use of cocaine and an "herbal Viagra" supplement at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada. According to TMZ, it's apparent that Kardashian still has deep feelings for the former NBA star, which is part of the reason why her relationship with Harden has been put on the backburner.
Prior to the incident, Odom and Kardashian both signed their divorce documents, but it takes two to four months to process. Harden had been focusing on basketball while everything played out, but it remains to be seen if there is any way that he and Kardashian will be able to move forward together.

The Hawks star also has to wonder in the back of his mind whether or not there is a future between Kardashian and Odom once he recovers.
Harden and the Rockets open up their regular season against the Nuggets on Oct. 28. Kardashian is expected to be by the side of Odom for many months, which means her courtship with Harden could be on the shelf for a while, if not permanently.
After the Hawks were swept out of the Western Conference Finals by the eventual NBA champion Warriors last spring, Harden's year has somehow managed to get worse.
