Lamar Odom is vowing to spend his Sept. 27 anniversary with his estranged wife, reality TV starlet Khloe Kardashian.
According to HollywoodLife.com, the NBA veteran has already figuratively circled the date on his schedule and is now actively working to make it happen, even as he battles a reported "hardcore" drug addiction and seeks resolution in a DUI case that could mean jail time.
"He knows how important and sentimental the anniversary is to Khloe," a source connected to the couple told HollywoodLife of what would be their fourth year anniversary. "He does want to prove to her that he loves her and that he still gives a f**k about her and their marriage."
Meanwhile, the website also reported that Kris Jenner, Khloe's mom and manager, recently posted a selfie of herself and her daughter on Instragram with what appears to be a Christmas tree behind them, prompting some to wonder if the family has already moved to exclude Odom from their much promoted family Christmas cards this year.
After spending last season with the L.A. Clippers, Odom, 33, is now a free agent but, given all his recent troubles, has attracted little interest on the open market.
Earlier this summer, the Clips talked of bringing him back, but have since severed all ties and signed veteran, free agent forward Antawn Jamison.
