New York Mets Rumors: Yoenis Cespedes Proves Baseball Players Are Softer Than Hockey Players [VIDEO]

It's been 48 hours since the Mets lost Game 5 of the World Series, and the hits keep coming.

Terry Collins Made The Wrong Decision For Game 4

Alain Vigneault was the latest troll in the metro area. The Rangers coach was critical of Yoenis Cespedes after fouling a line drive hard off his left knee in Game 5. The bases were loaded with nobody out in the bottom of the sixth inning. All Cespedes could muster was a pop out before taking himself out of the game.

Vigneault wasn't impressed.

All Of A Sudden Everyone's A Mets Fan

"How 'bout the one when you take the ball off [the knee] and you take yourself out of the game in the World Series?" Vigneault said, per New York Daily News, rolling his eyes as if to say, "Are you kidding me?"

Vigneault's comments are just the latest example of big, bad hockey personality trying to prove his genitals are bigger than everyone else's. In Vigneault's world, broken jaws and fractures are the norm and playing through them -- no matter how idiotic it is -- is common practice.

But not everyone is looking forward to living in pain at 69.

As tough as Vigneault tried to come across, he too proved to be softer than a mother's touch.

If you're going to be a macho, at least own it. Otherwise, there's no need for misplaced criticism.
