Ex-Philadelphia boxer Yusaf Mack's story blew up last week after it was discovered that he starred in a gay porno last year. He had at first claimed that he was drugged and forced to do the film, but now he has finally set the record straight.

Mack, 35, told Fox 29 that he is actually gay and has been for some time now.

"I'm gay. I'm tired of holding it in, it is what it is. I live my life. I'm gay," he said.

He also admitted that he was neither drugged nor forced to star in the film. The site it was featured on, DawgPoundUSA, denied they ever drugged him or any of their actors. They told Gawker they were about to take legal action to clear their name. Mack had admitted he received $4,500 for the film but at first said he did not recall what happened after he arrived.

DawgPound USA insist that Mack knew what he was doing in the film.

He now says that his story was a coverup from the start.

"It was all a lie," he said.

Mack said he's known he's been gay for eight years or so now. Once the video became public, he became concerned about how he would explain it to his children, and then even had thoughts of suicide.

Mack is a father of ten children and was engaged to a woman he had been with for five years.

Mack said he came clean with her as well and "apologized for any pain he had caused her or their children."

Mack said however that the toughest conversation he's had since the tape was revealed was the one with his 21-year-old daughter.

In a phone conversation with her, she reportedly told Mack, "Kill yourself, you embarrass us." He said he started crying and told her "You're right," before he hung up the phone.

Mack has since apologized to his children and his then-fiance. He said they remain friends and his other children are supporting him, too.
