The Olympic gold medalist needed stitches in her right thumb after foolishly trying to break up a fight between her two dogs. It wasn’t a matter of life or death, neither. The aforementioned dogs -- Leo and Bear -- were fighting over a frisbee.
Fortunately for Vonn, the injury won't be enough to keep her from the slopes on Sunday, per ESPN. She also plans to participate in a World Cup giant slalom in Aspen at the end of the month.

The news shouldn’t come as a surprise to Vonn’s following. This is the same woman who’s dedicated an Instagram page to her four-legged friends.

Fortunately for Vonn, her injuries only resulted in a few stitches. It’s not like Leo and Bear were out and about promiscuously looking to break her heart.
