A 32-year-old Georgia woman has sued NBA legend Michael Jordan claiming he is the father of her two-year-old daughter.
According to TMZ, Laquetta Theus claims in court papers she had an affair with the former Chicago Bulls star and six-time NBA champion that resulted in the birth of Juyana Rachelle Henderson in August of 2010.
"Michael Jordan, when are you going to support your 2-year-old daughter?" Theus recently posted on her Facebook page. "You drop $10 million on your nice wedding... that was nice but don't you think it's time that you support your daughter?"
Theus is seeking unspecified child support payments and attorneys for Jordan have countered with claims her assertions are eerily similar to those once launched by Pamela Smith, another Georgia woman who claimed Jordan was the father of her child.
Smith's case was ultimately tossed and she was even fined for filing what the judge later deemed "one big publicity stunt." Attorneys for Jordan also insist paternity for the child was established more than a year ago.
The father of three, Jordan married 35-year-old Yvette Prieto in a lavish ceremony at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea church in Peach Beach, Fla. earlier this summer.
