Los Angeles Lakers Rumors: Even Warriors Fans Are Better At Basketball Than The Lakers [VIDEO]

The Lakers embarrassment Tuesday night went much further than what was depicted on the scoreboard by the final buzzer.

Los Angeles ran into a buzz saw in Golden State as the Warriors pounded away and escaped with a dominating 110-77 victory over their counterparts. The Warriors improved to an astounding 16-0, owning the NBA's best record ever to start an NBA season, while the lowly Lakers dipped to 2-12.

Making matters worse, even Warriors fans proved to be better at basketball than the Lakers.

During a timeout, a Golden State fan named Adam was given 45 seconds to make a layup to win free haircuts for his entire section, a free throw to get the entire lower bowl the same treatment and a three-pointer to win the prize for the entire arena.

Adam then proceeded to show the Lakers how it's done. He nailed the layup with no problem, took two tries to land the free throw shot and then drained a trey on his fourth attempt.

Though it took four attempts for the fan to hit the three, his one trey was more than the Lakers accounted for in the entire first quarter. It's been a rough go of it this season for Byron Scott's bunch.

Adam proceeded to pour salt in the wounds, making a throat-slash gesture toward Los Angeles players after he completed the challenge. The Lakers were in fact dead by the time the game ended, by way of a 33-point blowout.

Los Angeles finished a franchise-worst 27-55 in 2013-14, and then reached a new low by closing out last season with a 21-61 mark. The Lakers vowed to improve through the draft and free agency this offseason, but after whiffing on top-tier free agents, the team seems well on its way to setting the bar for futility even lower in 2015-16.

And now, even fans are playing better basketball than the Lakers.
