Athletes have plenty to be thankful for this time of year, but for this next group of star-studded sports stars, the Kardashian Family won't be one of them.
Lamar Odom's Poor Health Provides Constant Distraction For Rockets
Professional athletes play a game for a living. The Kardashian clan makes a game out of playing with their hearts. The reality stars have spurned many a sports superstar in their day and the ledger is likely longer than the Christmas list that each star has come December.
Here is a look at six athletes who won't be counting their blessings for having met the Kardashians this Turkey Day.
Khloe's Health Deteriorating As She Deals With Lamar
1) Lamar Odom
This one is pretty obvious. Yes, Odom should be thankful that Khloe is by his side to support him and help him pay for his medical expenses, but it's her spell over him that caused his downward spiral in the first place. Odom, of course, needs to take responsibility for his actions, but the divorce Khloe levied on him helped bring him to the brink, and nearly cost him his life.
2) Kris Humphries
The current Wizards forward shared wedded bliss with Kim for all of 72 days. The couple began dating in 2010 and they got engaged in May 2011 before getting married that August. About three months later, the wedding -- which came off as a publicity stunt and was captured by cameras everywhere -- was off. Humphries will not be thanking Kardashian over his turkey this year.
3) Reggie Bush
The 49ers running back discovered that the Kardashian curse doesn't wash off so easily. Bush dated Kim for two different stints, one from 2007 until July 2009, then again from September 2009 through March 2010. Bush is now married with two children, so it doesn't appear as though the Kardashians will be brought up at the Thanksgiving table.
4) Miles Austin
Boy, Kim gets around. The reality star dated the current Eagles wide receiver in 2010, but they didn't last the test of time. Austin eventually married his high school sweetheart, so he won't be lonely for the holiday.
5) Matt Kemp
The baseball star dated Khloe in what wasn't exactly a perfect match due to his low-key nature and her penchant for scooping headlines and grabbing camera time. Shockingly, the relationship didn't last. Kemp will worry more this Thanksgiving about where the Padres may trade him than he will about his past romance.
6) OJ Simpson
There have been rumors that the ex-football player-turned-criminal is Khloe's father and there were even talks of a possible DNA test being taken, according to Radar Online. Simpson has claimed in the past to be her father, while Khloe apparently doesn't want the truth to be known -- if it in fact is truth at all. Either way, she'll likely be far from his mind come Thanksgiving.
