Philadelphia 76ers News: Sixers Continue Free-Fall To Infamy [VIDEO]

The 76ers had initially given the idea that the team was finally going to make a serious run in their division, anchored on two young players -- Nerlens Noel and 2015 rookie pick Jahlil Okafor.

With a talented frontline, the only thing left was perhaps to see if the Sixers had a suited guard rotation to compliment the young and talented duo. But as it is turning out, Noel and Okafor still need a lot of help.

The Sixers have yet to win a game this season but there is even worse news than that heading into their game against the Celtics as reported by Yahoo Sports.

And as expected, the team did suffer another heartbreaking loss to the Celtics, 84-80, per SI.com. The loss kept them winless at 0-16 but more glaringly was their 26th loss since last season.

Even Warriors Fans Are Better At Basketball Than The Lakers

This means that the Sixers are now tied with two other ballclubs -- the 2013-14 Sixers and the 2010-11 Cavaliers for consecutive losses by an NBA ballclub.

But the buck doesn’t stop there. If the Sixers continue with their losing streak, they may soon tie another infamous record that is unfortunately credited to the 2009-10 Nets.

The club is just two wins from tying that record and seeing that their next opponents are the Rockets (Nov. 27) and the Grizzlies (Nov. 29), it is certainly not looking good.

The last time the Sixers savored a win was way back in Mar. 15 when they won over the Nuggets, 99-85. Right now it seems that their best chance to score a win this season will be against the Lakers who they meet Tuesday, Dec. 1.
