Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen Marriage: Supermodel Conspicuously Quiet After Patriots' First Loss [VIDEO]

Sunday night was uncharacteristic. Not only did the Patriots lose, but Gisele Bundchen was suspiciously silent on Twitter.

Quarterback Tom Brady's wife is known to be very active and outspoken on social media, but after the referees made some questionable calls and the Patriots (10-1) dropped their first game of the season to the Broncos (9-2), the super model's Twitter account went dormant.

This is the same Bundchen who was once recorded calling out Wes Welker and the New England wide receivers after the Patriots fell to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI in 2012.

"My husband can not f------ throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time," Bundchen said in the video, according to ESPN. "I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."

Meanwhile, three years later, as her husband's team lost for the first time all season, Bundchen was silent on social media. The lack of a social media presence by the model came on a night where Brady was already without Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola and lost Rob Gronkowski to a leg injury.

This quiet night came despite the fact that the officials had several questionable calls against the Patriots. Perhaps the most egregious was a holding call on Patrick Chung late in the fourth quarter, which eventually led to Brock Osweiler's 4-yard touchdown pass to Andre Caldwell.

The score gave the Broncos a three-point lead, but the Patriots tied it up on a last-second field goal to force overtime. After New England failed to put points on the board in the opening drive of the extra frame, Denver's C.J. Anderson ran for a 48-yard touchdown to win the game.

Perhaps Bundchen's silence has to do with the reported problems the couple was having with their marriage when the whole Deflategate controversy was playing out. Bundchen's only tweet in the past 24 hours is a re-tweet of a Climate Change promotion.

There can't be too much trouble in paradise, however, as Bundchen dressed her dogs up in Patriots garb prior to New England's 20-13 victory over Buffalo on Nov. 23.

Still, it's at least interesting to see the usually out-spoken Bundchen maintaining her silence amid terrible officiating and a rough loss for the Patriots. Maybe she's saving her best material for the playoffs.
