For whatever reason, Cena has been hesitant to get down on one knee and turn Bella into Mrs. Cena. The subject has been delved into many times on "Total Divas," but the couple remains as boyfriend and girlfriend rather than committing to each other by getting engaged.

1) Three Years Strong

Cena and Bella have been in a long-term, committed relationship since 2012 and with their courtship approaching the four-year mark, it's time to commit or quit. The longest WWE Divas Champion in history has made no secret of the fact that she wants to marry Cena and have children with him, and since they obviously have clicked for this long, it's time to start that journey.

2) The Past Is Past

One reason for the 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion's cold feet could be his past marriage. Cena tied the knot with his former lover Elizabeth Huberdeau in 2009, but the couple divorced in 2012 prior to Cena dating Bella. As for the WWE Diva, she married her high school sweetheart at age 20, but the marriage was annulled three years later. Though both of them went through a sordid past when it comes to love, what's done is done and they've found a fresh new beginning together.

3) Breaking Kayfabe

The WWE has avoided bringing Cena, the top babyface in the men's division, and Bella, the highest-ranked villain in the Divas division, together on television. Despite "Total Divas" delving into their relationship outside of the ring, the WWE's main storylines have steered clear of placing the two together. If the couple plans on getting married, this could change things as the WWE may also stage a wedding in the squared circle, which it has been known to do throughout the years to disastrous results.

4) The Time Is Now

Cena will turn 39 next spring, while Bella just turned 32 in November. The two-time Divas Champion has said in the past that she feels as though life is passing her by as she hopes to get married and have children. With neither one of them getting any younger, they should face reality and get hitched. With Bella seeing her sister Brie marry WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan in 2014, she probably wants to get married now more than ever.
