Paige Spiranac made her golf debut at the Dubai Ladies Masters this week. It didn’t go according to plan. The 22-year-old -- who was only invited to the tournament thanks to her social media relevance -- missed the cut after shooting 12-over in the first two rounds.

“I think I’m going to go back home and re-evaluate everything and see if golf is still in my future or not,” Spiranac said, per News.com.au. “I’m definitely not going to look at my phone for a while.
“Probably take a break from social media just to kind of step away and re-evaluate everything.”

There’s nothing to re-evaluate. Spiranac isn’t as talented as she is photogenic, and that’s not the worst thing in the world.

The retired Russian-American tennis player has a net worth in excess of $50 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. She didn’t exactly amass that sum on the courts, either.
Zero grand slam titles won’t net you $50 million. Looking like this does.
