Aaron Hernandez Trial Update: Alexander Bradley Jailed As Fugitive Witness In Odin Lloyd Killing [VIDEO]

U.S. Marshals have taken a man with ties to former New England Patriots tight end described by authorities into custoday as a fugitive in the case.

According to Sports Illustrated, Alexander Bradley was taken into custody at a Hartford, Conn, home early Friday after disobeying a court order to appear before a grand jury in Massachusetts that's investigating Hernandez's alleged involvement in a 2012 unsolved, double slaying in downtown Boston.

Hernandez, 23, also remains jailed on first-degree charges in the June 16th killing of 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd. The victim's bullet-riddled body was found dumped in an industrial park ditch less than a mile from Hernandez's North Attleborough, Mass. mansion early the next morning.

Investigators note that Bradley currently has an open suit against Hernandez in which he alleges Hernandez shot him in the face last February as the two engaged in a heated argument while leaving a Miami-area strip club.

Hernandez has pled not guilty in the Odin shooting and is expected to go on trial sometime early next year. Earlier this week, his fiance and mother of his young daughter, Shayanna Jenkins, was indicted on perjury charges related to the case.

Police have speculated Hernandez may have been motivated to target Odin because he feared he might reveal information he knew connecting Hernandez to the Boston crime.
