This much appears to be true. Hannah Davis and Derek Jeter have been apart in the days leading up to Christmas.
But the separation may be a sign of a troubled relationship between the recently engaged couple, according to Terez Owens.

"Here's the latest scoop: Hannah Davis was spotted in St. Thomas for Christmas, and Derek Jeter is nowhere to be found. Hannah Davis was spotted at Magens Bay earlier (Wednesday) with some female friends. The most telling thing of all was her ring was missing says our insider. Looks as if things have fallen off track for Jeter and Davis wedding."
In an interview with GQ Magazine, Davis confirmed she is in St. Thomas and Jeter is not with her. But she explained why they're apart.

"That girl in high school that spent every waking moment with the boyfriend and lost all her girlfriends?! That's not what life's about," she told GQ. "You have family and friends for a reason! You can't leave that in the dust. And your partner should agree with that and want the same things for himself."
A sliver of doubt does exist because the GQ website article included several photos of the 25-year-old Davis with her wedding ring on. To go without it would be considered unusual for the model -- not to mention for any woman in a recent engagement.
And granted, the couple had been dating for three years before getting engaged in October, so being apart over the holidays might not be that big of a deal. But it would be strange if Jeter didn't join Davis in St. Thomas in their first year as a betrothed couple.
