Jerry Sandusky's Son Arrested: Cleveland Browns Executive Jon Sandusky Booked For Drunk Driving [VIDEO]

Cleveland Browns executive and son of former Penn State assistant Jerry Sandusky, Jon Sandusky, was arrested early Tuesday morning in Fargo, N.D. on suspicion of drunk driving.

According to the Associated Press, Fargo police Lt. Joel Vettel told The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead that Sandusky, 36, made an illegal turn and he spotted him doing so which led to Vettel pulling Sandusky over. Vettel said that when he pulled Sandusky over he became suspicious that he was drunk; Sandusky proceeded to fail two field sobriety tests.

AP reports that a worker at the Cass County Jail confirmed Tuesday evening that Sandusky had been booked and later released following the infraction. It's uncertain whether or not the crime will result in the Browns punishing Sandusky in some way.

"We're aware of the situation and currently working to gather facts," Browns spokesman Zak Gilbert told The Associated Press.

Sandusky works for Cleveland as the team's director of player personnel and has done so for the last four years after spending nine years in the same role for the Philadelphia Eagles in their personnel department. In his role, Sandusky evaluates all college prospects and NFL free agents for the Browns and he comes with experience on the gridiron as he played football for Penn State from 1996-99, where he was a safety.

The Sandusky family is unfortunately most known for Jerry Sandusky's troubled scandal that shook the world. Sandusky, 69, a former defensive coordinator at Penn State, was imprisoned for 30 to 60 years for sexually abusing 10 different boys over a 15 year period.

It remains to be seen what kind of actions the Browns take with Jon Sandusky following his recent arrest for driving under the influence.
