Floyd Mayweather Next Fight: 'Money' Spending Like He's Got Another Manny Pacquiao Payday Coming [VIDEO]

Floyd Mayweather Jr. was the richest athlete of 2015, and he made more than $300 million in May from a single fight vs. his arch rival Manny Pacquiao. Still, even for someone with Mayweather’s earning prowess, he spends his money very freely.

His latest spree included dropping more than $10 million on jewelry.

Since fighting in September vs. Andre Berto and “retiring,” Mayweather’s spending has been very public, and very loose.

But maybe Mayweather is just keeping his buzz going while he bides his time for his next big fight. He improved his record to 49-0 when he beat Berto, tying Rocky Marciano’s mark when he retired as heavyweight champion. Mayweather can clearly still fight from a physical standpoint, and even though his Berto pay-per-view was a dud, it still raked in more than most other fighters’ cards.

Mayweather-Cotto Rematch Isn't A Stretch

Pacquiao has postponed an announcement for his next fight, which is rumored to be his last, several times. Names like Tim Bradley and Terrence Crawford have come up, as well as Adrien Broner, a protégé of Mayweather’s. But don’t forget this video.

The MGM Grand is opening a brand new arena in 2016; why wouldn’t Mayweather christen it with a major event, a rematch vs. a healthy Pacquiao, as a go-home bout for both legends?
