WWE 'WrestleMania 32' Rumors: Potential Brock Lesnar vs. Sheamus Match Builds Some Momentum [VIDEO]

Sheamus has said he'd like to clash with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32, and if the WWE's upcoming schedule is any indication, he may get his wish.

"The Beast" has yet to return to action on WWE television, but he did return to battle Alberto Del Rio earlier this month at a live event. An upcoming WWE event in Houston is advertising Lesnar to battle Sheamus on Jan. 8, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com.

Roman Reigns, John Cena Feud Could Help Both Superstars

Usually, when the WWE plans on building a program between two Superstars, they have them compete at untelevised events to gauge crowd reaction and build chemistry. It's possible the WWE is having "The Celtic Warrior" collide with "The Beast" at WrestleMania 32 on April 3 at AT&T Stadium in Texas, which could be the reason for the live event match.

Sheamus' name hasn't popped up in many rumors for WrestleMania yet, but he has said that he would like to battle Paul Heyman's client at the "Show of Shows." When Lesnar and Sheamus meet in Houston, it will mark the first time they ever go head-to-head in the squared circle.

Best WWE Matches Of 2015

"I'd love to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleManiia," Sheamus told WrestlingNews.co. "I would love nothing more. I would love nothing more than to scrap like that with Brock. I think it would be amazing. It's what I've always talked about and wanted to do for years."

Though Sheamus hasn't been a part of any rumors for WrestleMania, Lesnar has. Paul Heyman's client has been linked to possible feuds with Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt and even "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, though a bout with the "Texas Rattlesnake" appears to be a long shot.

Another rumored match for the biggest show of 2016 is John Cena vs. The Undertaker, who battled "The Beast" in an infamous match at WrestleMania XXX in 2013.

There's no guarantees that Lesnar will battle Sheamus, but a potential clash has built up a lot of momentum.
