The Aggies are attempting to match a franchise record in road wins with 10 while Ole Miss looks to bounce back after two horrid losses have dropped them from the Top 25. Texas A&M is trying to stay healthy after an enduring season.

"This year is a lot different," coach Kevin Sumlin told ESPN. "Five games in, we've got some guys limping around. We've got some guys we need to get healthy for the next stretch of games."

Reigning Heisman Trophy winner and sophomore quarterback Johnny Manziel has been the key for Texas A&M offensively as he has gone 100-for-140 (71.4%) for 1,489 yards with 14 touchdowns compared to just four interceptions.

Manziel has led the Aggies to the top five in the FBS by averaging 49.2 points and 586.4 yards per game  Texas A&M is looking to notch its 10th road victory in a row for the first time since the 1939-40 season, and while the offense promises to play a key role once again this game, defensive end Toney Hurd Jr. knows its important for the defense to show up strong.

"It's critical for us to take our game to the next level," Hurd said per ESPN. "When we come back out we want to put something out for the world to see -- this is our defense. We have to put a great statement out playing against Ole Miss. We have two weeks to prepare so we won't have any excuses."

The Rebels provide a good opportunity for the 2013-14 Aggies team to take their place in Texas A&M history as they have dropped two games in a row and have plumetted out of the Top 25. Ole Miss was shutout 25-0 against No.1 Alabama on Sept. 28 and then lost 30-22 at Auburn last week.

Quarterback Bo Wallace will look to turn around the team's woes after his interception last week ended Ole Miss' hopes of a comeback after it had recovered a fumble late in the game while trailing by five.

"A lot of us got a little complacent after that 3-0 run, but now I feel like everything happens for a reason," linebacker Serderius Bryant said. "We're in the spot where we need to be right now."

Wallace is 98-for-166 (59.0%) on the season for 1,143 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions.

Texas A&M looks to go to 6-0 all-time against Ole Miss and tie a franchise record for consecutive road wins, while Ole Miss looks to stop its losing streak when these teams meet under the lights tonight in Mississippi.
