The Seahawks suffered their first regular-season defeat in 10 games to the Colts in Indianapolis last week, and are looking for their 11th consecutive home victory this afternoon.
"I don't want to get real good at this," coach Pete Carroll said to ESPN. "I don't want to get good at playing after losses, but we need to handle it well, but I'm curious to see if we do. We'll take care of that stuff day by day and watch what is going on and listen to them and make sure we're on track and getting a great preparation."
The Seahawks gave up just 24 total points the first three weeks of the season but have yielded 54 in their last two contests. Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch each rushed for 102 yards in last week's lost, but the Seahawks still couldn't pull out a victory.
In his second year, Wilson is 74-for-127 (58.3%) for 997 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions while rushing for 233 yards on 40 attempts without reaching the end zone through five games. Lynch has rushed for 410 yards on 96 carries and has yielded three touchdowns.
Tennessee has suffered a three-game road losing streak against NFC opponents, and is also coming off of a loss after dropping a game to last week by a 26-17 margin in a loss to the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs at home last week.
"We know going to Seattle, how hard it is," coach Mike Munchak said per ESPN. "We have to go reload, and we will, and play better."
Running back Chris Johnson was held to just 17 yards on 10 carries last week, bringing his season total to 294 yards on 94 attempts with no touchdowns. Tennessee is hopeful to have Shonn Greene back to add running depth after he's missed four games with a knee injury.
Ryan Fitzpatrick will remain under center for Tennessee. He's appeared in two games going 24-for-49 (49%) for 355 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Seattle will look to shake off last week's loss and continue the longest active home winning-streak in the NFL, while Tennessee will try to bounce back from a tough loss at home when these two teams collide this afternoon.
