Much like Luis Figo in 2002 -- where Barcelona fans threw a pig’s head in his direction -- there was every intention to launch it at Pique.
Fortunately, the Barcelona defender remained on the bench to prevent the fans from seeing their plan through.
The best news for Pique, however, can be found in the fixtures list.
Barcelona will not return to the Estadi Cornella-El Prat until next season.
